Belonging course
Coming to a new church can be a big step. Whether you've recently moved to the area, are looking for a church home, or have been visiting Love Caerphilly for a while, the Belonging Course is designed to help you get to know who we are and what we're all about.
The next Belonging Course starts in Autumn 2026.
What to expect at belonging course
FOOD
The course takes place in a home around food and conversation, creating a relaxed environment where you can ask questions, get to know others, and hear the heart behind Love Caerphilly Family Church.
TOPICS
Over seven sessions we'll explore our story, vision, values, beliefs and culture. We'll talk honestly about what it means to belong to a local church family, how we work together, and the role each of us has in God's Kingdom.
DISCUSSION
The Belonging Course is also a great way to build relationships with others who are new to the church and connect more deeply into church life.There is plenty of opportunity to ask questions (and we mean any question) and discuss the topics each evening

No. There is no pressure or expectation. Our goal is simply to help you get to know us and for us to get to know you.

That's absolutely fine. Many people on the course come from a variety of church traditions and experiences. We welcome honest discussion and questions.

That's okay. The course is designed to be open and conversational. We'd much rather have honest conversations than unanswered questions.

Yes. Any question is welcome. We want the course to be a safe place for discussion, exploration and understanding.

Expect a relaxed evening in a home, good food, biblical teaching, discussion and the opportunity to meet others who are exploring church life at Love Caerphilly.

Only if you'd like to. There will be opportunities for discussion, but nobody will be put on the spot.

Absolutely. The course is not just for new Christians. It's for anyone wanting to understand the vision, culture and distinctives of Love Caerphilly.
